Wasted day

What a waste of a day! Woot, my eyes do feel rather rotty... My next day off is Tuesday and that will be full of cooking more soup, clean of the house and I would like to say reading but ha I know myself far to well to think that will really happen.

So Wanda Sykes has a talk show on Fox Saturday night where MadTv used to but and it was well just seemed really awkward to watch for some reason Miss Sykes didn't really feel comfortable in front of the audience. She did defend President Obama against his distractors which I did enjoyed but in all I was wanting more out of the show then what it was hopefully the show will mature in time and be axed within the next few weeks. You can watch it for yourself and let me know what you think.

I did like the fact that she has a drag queen on her show and the whole "scaring white people" bit was super funny.

Anyway night y'all!

Day Off

Today I will play video games on my laptop and listen to MPR until my eyes rot out of my skull.

Healthcare

Woot! The House past healthcare! Sadly it's the Senates turn at the bill and that's is going to take a while to but worked out.

Day

Today was as pretty good day besides burning myself on a pan that was tons of fun! I am now nerding out and watching the healthcare debate on c-span. I love how Medicare which the GOP tried to block back when it was established they are now trying to save for Obama government health care take over... Yeah that's right socialize health care is going to kill you and your grandparents while stealing all your money!!!

Check out the dailyshows report on socialism in Sweden. God it looks likes an awful place to me. Who would want to surrounded by super model blonds and have free higher education?

Sunny!

It's so sunny! Today is going to awesome, really I promise all of you that it's going to rock!

Songs in my head!

I've had two songs in my head all fraking day! Enjoy!

Warmth

It's fifty degrees outside. Winter, the only time I like global warming!

Morning!

I love waking up in the morning and realizing I get to live for another day! So 10.2% unemployment eh? I would like to blame... no one cause I don't know enough about such things to go out and blame people plus I am sort of going to join those numbers for seven weeks so I guess it's good to know I'll have some company.

I am sure the GOP will blame Obama and the Dems will blame Bush who isn't even President any more but make a great boogie man. I am sure there is nothing more annoying to President Obama then people blaming all sorts of people but not doing anything to get people working again.

In positive news R. T. Rybak is running for Governor of Minnesota! I wish him all the luck in the world cause he's going to need it since I am not sure how well he'll do outside of the cities since he's rather wonderfully liberal. For now I am supporting both R. T. and Matt Entenza hopefully one of them will get the nod and we will finally be rid of Tim Pawlenty who is already ready running for President by going around sounding like a crazy person or a parrot of Sarah Palin. When he was elected he seemed to me to be a clear center politician and was one for a while but then last year he started to campaign for John McCain and started running to the base of the party which I am not really sure is all that popular in Minnesota.

Anyway I am off to watch "30 Rock" and then "the Office".

Pork P'wned

So I cooked the hell out of that frozen pork loin! I cooked in the oven for an hour in veggie broth with carrots and onions, then I took it out of oven after an hour and sliced it up to braise in butter and olive oil with marjoram. I took the drippings from the skillet and made a little gravy tossed it over the pork slices and let it rest for twenty minutes, all in all a good day doing staff lunch! Awesome!

Woot!

Pork loin

Your mission is to cook a Pork loin from frozen in two hours... Good luck!

Cosby

This is one of the only clips of the Cosby show that I can remember from my childhood when I lived in Barstow, California.

I totally forgot about this until year past when I was watching the movie "Ray" and man nothing but memories came flooding back and man it was awesome. I'll always watch the Cosby Show if it's on television there is really nothing better and nothing that I don't connect to my childhood like Cosby. God love him...
